Freelance Video Production
4k Freelance joined forces with Tapes up Productions to film the motorsport coverage of the Minibike British Championship RD9, which aired on motorsport.tv during October 2017.
Multicam and B-Roll
We aided in delivering both rounds of the championship by using a small micro four thirds crop sensor Panasonic GH4 4k ultra HD camera mounted on a shoulder rig, shooting in HD at 50 mbps into compressed .mov files. This allowed us to get more recording time and prolong the life of the batch of batteries needed for a full day of shooting, which we carefully planned prior to the event. The multi-cam coverage was filmed over two days in Kettering with a variety of HD cameras. Our specification was to capture 96fps slow motion variable frame rate shots in high definition (HD), 50fps and 25fps real time, and in high definition.
